At REVER We Offer Three Methods Of Application
The Invisible Weave
This method of Hair Extension is one of the least damaging way of adding length and volume to your natural hair by applying the hair extension to your own hair using the invisible method. We braid a plait with your own hair creating a solid base for the hair extension to be attached to. Then placing the hair extension in a line with our plait we sew the hair extension in place securely resulting in an invisible placement creating a natural fall of hair. This technique makes the extensions last for 6 – 10 weeks.

The Nano Ring
This method of hair extension is fast becoming one of the most popular methods of applying hair extensions because of its healthy application to the natural hair. The nano ring is a small metal ring with a silicone cushion inside to provide a secure and cushioned effect when applied onto the strands of hair. This is then fixed by using flat hair extension pliers squeezing the nano ring onto the hair and securing it in place. It is a perfect technique for creating volume and length to the hair. These type of extensions last for about 3 months with one re-tightening visit.
The One Day Technique
This method of hair extension is a temporary one, especially tailored to the client’s need for adding length and volume to their hair for a specific function. At REVER we only use original human hair as this source of hair is one of the most ethically sourced. We ensure that the hair is of exquisite quality and that the cuticles are all facing in the same direction resulting in matting and tangle free smooth hair extensions. The hair can be coloured and can have heat applied creating the most flawless realistic natural hair extension result.
Hair Texturizing
Are you sick of having hair that is frizzy, straight or just out of control? Maybe its time for a new look. Texture and smoothing is about altering the natural structure of your hair to enable easier styling and achieving a particular look or style from bouncing curls to poker straight. Texturizing enhances and complements a current style either by making a slight difference or a dramatic change. A thorough hair diagnosis is carried out so that both you and your stylist have all relevant information and can better understand the expected outcome of the texturizing procedure. During the consultation, please inform your stylist of ANY treatments previously done to your hair, as that knowledge is crucial to enable your stylist to decide upon the type of procedure that will best suit your hair. Permanent Straightening Techniques
Re-bonding Procedures involve a permanent breakdown of the alpha and beta bonds within the hair strands creating a new DNA formula within the hair, thus making it smoother, more manageable with a sleek, straight effect. The entire procedure takes 2 – 8 hours, depending on the length and texture of your hair. The effect is permanent and touch-ups are required in approximately 6 – 8 months depending on the rate of hair growth and providing you follow the after care instructions. We recommend that you don’t wash your hair for 3 – 5 days after the procedure and thereafter only wash your hair with a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner.

Texturizing Techniques
The latest smoothing treatments are brilliant at making hair more softer, straighter and more manageable by eliminating frizz and making your hair react better to everyday life such as weather and pollution thus making it easier for you to manage your hair at home. REVER Salons are proud to use a variety of different premium Keratin-based hair treatment products like KeraStraight, Keratin, Coppola, Cystine, G. K. and Brasil Cacao. These specially formulated revitalising and rejuvenating treatments eliminate frizz and curl, and restore health and structure to the hair. It takes 3 – 4 hours for the procedure, depending on the length and texture of your hair. These treatments can last up to 4 months, depending on your hair type and texture, providing you follow the after care instructions. We recommend that you don’t wash your hair for 3 – 5 days after the treatment and thereafter only wash your hair with a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner.
Perming
At REVER we offer a variety of body enhancing and curl procedures. Perms are ideal for supporting a style that needs extra lift or structure to hold a blow-dry, and is really effective if you have fine or flat hair. Perms are now more nourishing and can be done in various methods to get the look you desire! Whether it be just for volume at the root, or to create a soft undone wave or to get that big bouncy look of cascading curls or to simply give you hair more flair in helping you style your hair there are many options. Perming has also become increasingly popular with our male clientele to get that natural tousled and more textured look.
A Body Perm is perfect for enhancing body within the hair with minimal curl. The body perm gives longevity to your blow-dry and makes your hair more manageable. At REVER, we recommend you get a blow-dry done at least once a week. If left to dry naturally the perm will fall in a loose wave. This type of perm will last for 2 – 3 months depending on the length. Having a layered haircut will help the body perm last longer. We recommend that you don’t wash your hair for 3 – 5 days after the procedure. No special shampoo or conditioners are required.
A Spiral Perm is a very tight curl falling in different directions to give a very natural look. This perm is perfect for the client that wants to wash and go. Products are key to keep this perm looking full and soft. The spiral perm will last for 3 – 6 months depending on the aftercare of the perm. We recommend that you don’t wash your hair for 3 – 5 days after the procedure, and thereafter only use a hydrating shampoo and conditioner, followed by an amplifying mousse or spray. The product should be evenly distributed throughout the hair either by hand or with a comb. After that, you need to apply a smoothing oil throughout the hair to moisturize it. This can be left to dry naturally or by using a diffuser.
A Personalized Perm is a perm that is totally customized to your requirements. You may want body only throughout the top of your hair or in certain areas where you lack curl. At REVER, we can customize your perm to your hair needs. All the after care information will be given to you by your stylist as this perming service is completely tailored to the individual.
